The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry was established within the Faculty of Pharmacy on June 23, 2004. It was headed by Associate Professor, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Yushchenko Tatiana Ivanivna.
Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy have full-time studies (1-5 courses, specialties "Pharmacy", "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy", "Clinical Pharmacy") and correspondence forms of study (1-6 courses, specialty "Pharmacy", term of study 4.5 years and 5.5 years). The course is taught in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
Students at the department study the following disciplines:

• Physical and colloidal chemistry;
• Pharmaceutical chemistry;

• Standardization of medicines;
• Toxicological chemistry;
• Toxicological and forensic chemistry;

• Pharmacognostic bases of phytotherapy
The lecturers of the department have prepared the texts of lectures, methodical instructions and manuals in the relevant disciplines in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
The department provides students with a training course in pharmacognosy (experimental research site on the territory of the museum - N.I. Pirogov's estate), industrial practices in pharmaceutical chemistry and medical chemistry (pharmaceutical enterprises in Vinnitsa).
The department worked on the organization of the educational process of pharmacists-interns in the specialty "General Pharmacy" with the elements of distance learning.
Department staff: 11 Associate professors (5 candidates of chemical sciences and 6 candidates of pharmaceutical sciences), 2 senior teachers (without a degree), the others - assistants without a scientific degree.

The department of pharmaceutical chemistry is created in composition a pharmaceutical faculty on Junes, 23, 2004. Led it associate professor, candidate of chemical sciences, Yushchenko Tetyana Ivan. The students of pharmaceutical faculty of daily form of studies (1-5 courses, specialities «Farmaciya», «Farmaciya, industrial farmaciya», «Clinical farmaciya») and extra-mural form of studies study on a department (1–6 courses, speciality „Farmaciya”, term of studies in 4,5 and in 5,5). Conducts considerable methodological work at the faculty (chairman of the methodical council of the pharmaceutical faculty). He is constantly engaged in research work on the topic "Pharmaceutical research of drugs of synthetic and natural origin, studying the interaction of excipients and active ingredients of dosage forms, analytical support for the design of dosage forms." The department has created a training laboratory for chemical and pharmacognostic research. In 2018, the laboratory underwent an examination for technical competence and on November 1, 2018 received a certificate certifying compliance with its assessment criteria, confirming its measuring capabilities and technical competence in conducting laboratory studies in the field of legally regulated metrology.

In 2017, at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University, she defended a thesis on the topic: “Direct synthesis of coordination compounds of copper (II) from thioamides of various substitutions” and received the degree of candidate of chemical sciences.
Continues research, participates in scientific and practical conferences. Based on the results of scientific research, a number of theses, scientific articles, patents for a useful model of Ukraine, a monograph have been published.

Duchenko Marina Anatoliivna

In 2011. She defended her dissertation on the topic: "Studying of biologically active substances of Gleditsia triacanthos and production of substances on their basis", specialty 15.00.02 - pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy, and received the diploma of candidate of pharmaceutical sciences. I continue scientific research in the field of study of medicinal plants of the flora of Ukraine, the results of the work are published in articles and abstracts.

In 1985 she graduated with honors from the Chisinau State University, majoring in chemistry, qualifying as a chemist and chemistry teacher. From 1987 to 1990 she studied at the post-graduate course at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the Moldova State University (Chisinau). In 1990 she defended her dissertation "Heterometallic (p-, d- or f-element) containing dioximates and acetylacetonates of cobalt, nickel and copper" and received the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences in the specialty 02.00.01 - inorganic chemistry. From 1995 to 1997 she was a Fellow of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Young Scientists. In 1996, she received an individual grant for the research activities of the J. Soros Foundation. In 2001, by the decision of the MESU Attestation Board, she was awarded the rank of Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry.
From 1992 to August 2019 she worked as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Vinnitsa National Technical University. She was engaged in the development of synthesis methods, the study of the structure, physicochemical and electrical properties of heterometallic complex compounds with different chelating ligands. He is the author and co-author of more than 110 scientific works, of which: 3 monographs; 40 scientific articles (3 of them in Scopus); 20 copyright certificates and patents; 48 abstracts at international scientific and scientific conferences. More than 30 scientific and educational-methodical works have been developed and published, including: 10 manuals
(2 - with MESU stamp); 8 methodical instructions; 2 copyright certificates for the work and more. Poor Web of Science index – 4. Number of publications – Web of Science - 18.
Since September 2019 he has been working as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. MI Pirogov. He teaches General and Inorganic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Performs the duties of the responsible for teaching and methodical work at the department and the curator of the student group. He is engaged in scientific and methodical work.

More than 30 scientific and educational-methodical works are published in national and foreign editions.
Since 2007 she has been working as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (VNMU). She performs the duties of the person responsible for the teaching Physical and Colloidal Chemistry at the department. He is engaged in scientific and methodical work.
Ocheretniuk Anna Aleksandrovna

In 2010, she planned a PhD thesis on the topic: "An experimental justification for the correction of HAES-LX colloidal hyperosmolar solution of 5% of the functional state of the lungs in conditions of burn shock." The thesis was defended on January 21, 2017 at a meeting of the dissertation council D 64.605.03 at the National Pharmaceutical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
On the dissertation topic, 23 scientific papers were published: 11 articles in scientific journals, 4 of them in professional journals recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 2 articles were foreign, 9 abstracts in congresses and conferences, 2 information letters and 1 patent of Ukraine for a utility model. I participate in scientific and practical conferences, do research work, the results of which are published.

Performs duties responsible for conducting the Faculty Olympiad in the specialty "Pharmacy" (the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad).
