History of the Department
 
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was founded in 1934 at the maternity hospital № 1. In 1938 started a new obstetrics and gynecology of the Regional Hospital. The first head of the department was Professor. SI Topuz. His doctoral thesis was devoted to the diagnosis of early pregnancy and modification reactions Ashheyma-Tsondeka.
In the years before World War II department head: MD AA Kogan (1938), Associate Professor NP Verhatskyy (1938-1940 years), prof. SB Darling (since February 1940).
In the first years after the war department was: Associate Verhatskyy NP Assoc. Shterenberg RI, prof. Smirnov GN (1947-1950 years).

From 1964 to 1990, Head of Department was Professor PG Zhuchenko, which until 2010 was a professor of obstetrics and gynecology № 1. It should be emphasized significant contribution to the academic training and activation scientific developments of our department for the period 1964-1990 years Corresponding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Russia and Ukraine Academician UANNP, MD Professor L. These dissertation research is a continuation of developments relevant issues concerning the impact of various environmental factors on pregnancy, fetus and newborn at different obstetric pathologies. Above their dissertations are 8 students. During this period released book "Obstetrics" for medical colleges (Zhuchenko PG, Tarasyuk VI), a textbook for the Masters edited by Academician VI Hryshchenko, where collaborators are BF Mazorchuk and PG Zhuchenko. Today, the department consists of 3 doctors, including 1 professor, 12 associate professors, 8 assistant. MI Pirogov Vinnitsa City Council with honors. In 2012 she graduated
from Vinnitsa National Medical University Pirogov. From 2012 to 2015 -
an internship took place at the Municipal Center "Mother and Child
Center" at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 2. Upon
graduation, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Barskaya
Central District Hospital.
In 2015 she graduated from the magistracy with honors in the field of

obstetrics and gynecology on the basis of the department of obstetrics and
gynecology № 2. From 2015 - postgraduate student of the department of
obstetrics and gynecology №1.
In 2019 she has successfully defended the candidate's dissertation on the
topic "Forecasting and diagnostics of overactive urinary bladder
syndrome in pregnant women of different somatotypes" under the
guidance of Professor Chayka G.V.
Since 01.09.2018 she is currently working as an assistant of the
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology № 1. She freely possesses
teaching methods in Ukrainian, Russian and English for native and
foreign students of 4 and 5 courses on the basis of the Department and the
Simulation Center.
At the present time, she continues to undertake scientific research within
the framework of the planned research work of the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1.

2016 she worked as a laborant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
№1 of Vinnitsa National Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov. In 2017 she
got the degree doctor of philosophy after the defense of scientific work:
"Prщашдфсешс of abnormal uterine bleeding in adolescent women of various
somatotypes."
From 2017 to the present, she has been working as a Ph.D. at the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology №1. Fluently teachers in Ukrainian, Russian and
English for domestic and foreign students of the 5th course. She has 1 patent for an
invention, published 18 scientific articles, including in foreign publications, has 1
monograph. She continues to work on the problem of abnormal uterine bleeding.
An active participant in international, all-Ukrainian scientific and practical
conferences. Doctor of the second category.

In 1989 she graduated from Vinnitsa Medical Institute Pirogov. From 1990 to 1991 she studied in the internship in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology at the Vinnytsa Clinical Hospital № 3.
Since 1991 has been working in Vinnitsa maternity hospital № 1 as an obstetrician- gynecologist, in 1995 - as head of antenatal clinics, since 2007 - as deputy chief physician of the clinical section of the work.
In 2001 he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Thesis: "The treatment of infertility of tubal origin after laparoscopic surgery for outpatient". A member of Assotiation of obstetrician- gynecologists Vinnytsa region.

Science activity

Employees of the department, doctoral students, graduate students, undergraduates conducted a study of reproductive potential and search for solutions to women's health problems in different areas. results of operative organ-preserving treatment of women of reproductive age in the presence of uterine fibroids and improvement of basic reproductive capabilities in the remote postoperative period.

 

For the first time the method of chemical hydrodissection of uterine tissues during conservative myomectomy was substantiated and put into practice.

 

The results are obtained in many aspects.

 

research reports were presented at international congresses of all-Ukrainian and university conferences, published in journals accredited by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine and other publications.

 

Students of 4-6 courses, interns joined the research work of the department. Joint works are published both in the materials of the student conference and in the abstracts of the conference of young scientists.

 

The results of scientific research are protected by patents introduced into health care practice.

 

Employees of the department, doctoral students, graduate students, undergraduates conduct research: "Prediction and prevention of developmental disorders and functions of the female reproductive system at different ages and correction of identified disorders."

 

There is a search for methods to improve the reproductive potential of women by reducing perinatal losses, optimizing approaches to diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and treatment of pregnancy pathology, improving the results of surgical organ-preserving treatment of women of reproductive age, preventive measures for gynecological pathology in women of different ages.

 

The obtained results of scientific research were reported at international congresses, symposia, conferences of all-Ukrainian, university with international participation.

 

The research results are published in journals accredited by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine, including foreign ones.

 

Scientific and practical conferences are held annually on the basis of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1.

 

Students of 4-6 courses, interns joined the research work of the department. Joint works are published both in the materials of the student conference and in the abstracts of the conference of young scientists.

At the department 3 clinical residents, 3 graduate students study and conduct scientific work.

Members of the department, undergraduate, graduate, undergraduates surveyed reproductive potential and finding a solution to the health problems of women in its various aspects.
A search for methods to improve women's reproductive potential by reducing perinatal losses, optimization approaches to diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of pregnancy, improving the results of surgical treatment of organ women of reproductive age in the presence of uterine fibroids and improve basic reproductive distant postoperative period.

To research department students were getting involved 4.6 courses, medical interns. Compatible work published in both materials student conference, and in theses conference of young scientists.
Research findings are patented, implemented in practice of public health.
Scientific research work of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, number 1 is "The study of reproductive potential and problems maintaining the health of women," which was approved in January 2012.
