Візит почесного професора ВНМУ Маркуса Клємана

У перші дні нового 2023 року ВНМУ ім. М.І. Пирогова відвідав з триденним робочим візитом професор Маркус Клєман. Він – науковець та лікар-хірург, який очолює відділ вісцеральної та васкулярної хірургії клініки д-ра Ерлєра, місто Нюрнберг, Німеччина, та впродовж майже 3х років є почесним професором ВНМУ ім. М.І. Пирогова.

В рамках візиту німецького професора було проведено ряд зустрічей з колегами в морфологічному корпусі ВНМУ ім. М.І. Пирогова. А 3 січня відбулась зустріч проф. Маркуса Клємана з керівництвом Вінницького національного медичного університету ім. М. І. Пирогова на чолі з ректором університету, д.мед.н., проф., академіком Василем Максимовичем Морозом. На зустрічі обговорили особливості функціонування університету у військовий час та запланували спільні проєкти, що будуть здійснені в рамках майбутньої співпраці.

Серед візитів клінічних баз, які здійснив професор Клєман, на окрему увагу заслуговують його відвідини кафедри хірургії №2, розташованої на базі міської клінічної лікарні швидкої медичної допомоги м. Вінниці. В рамках цього візиту було проведено круглий стіл для хірургів, лікарів-інтернів та студентів, в якому взяли участь більше 20 людей. Українські лікарі мали можливість послухати інтерактивну лекцію про професійне становлення лікаря-хірурга, яка дуже сподобалась аудиторії, а після лекції відбулося не менш цікаве живе спілкування у форматі «питання-відповідь».

Поза академічною частиною свого візиту, проф. Клєман підтримав українських колег-хірургів і практично, привізши їм сучасні шовні матеріали, антисептичні засоби та леза для склальпелів. І хоча візит був відносно нетривалим, червоною ниткою через нього проходив основний меседж: «ми ще повернемося»!

Honorary Professor Markus Kleemann visited VNMU

In the first days of the New Year 2023, Professor Markus Kleemann attended Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya (VNMU) for a three-day working visit. Currently, Professor Kleemann is a head of the department of visceral and vascular surgery at the Dr. Ehrler’s clinic in the city of Nuremberg, Germany. He has been an honorary professor of VNMU for almost 3 years.

As a part of his visit, German professor held a number of meetings with colleagues in the main (morphological) building of the University. Moreover, on January 3, Prof. Marcus Kleemann met with VNMU leadership, headed by the rector of the University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician Vasyl Moroz. At the meeting, the parties discussed the specifics of the functioning of the University in wartime and planned joint projects that will be implemented as a part of the future cooperation.

Among the visits to clinical sites that Professor Kleemann made, his visit to the VNMU Department of Surgery No. 2, based on the City Clinical Emergency Hospital in Vinnitsa, deserves special attention. Within the framework of this visit, a round table was held for surgeons, residents and students. More than 20 people participated it. First, Prof. Kleemann gave a lecture on the professional development of a surgeon, which the audience really liked. It was followed by a no less interesting lively question-and-answer discussion.

Outside of the academic part of his visit, Prof. Kleemann supported his Ukrainian fellow surgeons in practice and brought them modern suture materials, antiseptics and scalpel blades. Although this visit was relatively short, the message ran through it: we will be back.
