Vasylenko G. is the head of the Ukrainian Language Department in Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University.
She graduated from Vinnytsia State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Philology, and completed post-graduate course in Herzen State Pedagogical University (Leningrad). She defended the thesis and obtained the degree in 1979.
She teaches the subject: "Ukrainian Language for Domestic Medical Students" and "Ukrainian as a Foreign Language".

She wrote 100 manuals educational programmes and curriculums. She constantly takes part in scientific conferences and congressed.
