Tomashkevych H. has been working at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine of Pirogov Memorial National Medical University, since 1996.
In 1999, she defended her candidate dissertation on the topic: "Features of the course of duodenal ulcer in individuals with a burdened heredity, different blood antigens, and somatotype characteristics" under the guidance of Professor Yuri Mikhailovich Mostovoy in the specialty of "Therapy". The defense took place at the specialized scientific council D 20.601.01 of Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Academy, and she received the PhD diploma based on the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated February 9, 2000.
Since 2000, she has been performing the duties of the Head of the educational part of the department. In 2003, she was elected as an Associate Professor at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine. She was awarded the Associate Professor diploma in 2005.
Since 2016, she has been an examiner for state exams.
She was a member of the university's education quality monitoring group from 2016 to 2021. She delivers lectures and conducts practical classes with students in the 2nd and 3rd years of education at the Medical Faculty. She teaches the course "Gastroenterology" to interns and postgraduates.
She supervises the summer practical training of students from 2nd to the 5th year of the Medical Faculty at the therapeutic profile departments of Vinnitsya Municipal Clinical Hospital No.1, Central Polyclinic №3.
She has an English language proficiency level B2 within the framework of teaching the medicine subject, 2018.
She provides medical services in the therapeutic department No. 2, surgical and intensive care units of Vinnytsia City Clinical Hospital No. 1. She has the highest category in the specialty "Therapy" since 2009, dated 05/14/2021. She completed her specialization in Gastroenterology, certificate of a specialist doctor in "Gastroenterology" dated 07.04.2017.
Since 2005, she has been participating in international clinical trials. She is a member of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, Ukrainian Pancreatology Club, and the Physicians' Association "Podillya".
She has been honored with honorary diplomas from the Executive Committee of Vinnitsya City Council for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, initiative, and perseverance, as well as an active life position and on the occasion of Medical Worker's Day (June 11, 2015); from the rector of Pirogov National Medical University, Vinnitsya for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism in work, and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine (February 24, 2016); from the acting Director of the Department of Health of Vinnytsya City Council for conscientious and diligent work and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the department's founding (February 2016); honorary diploma from the rector of Pirogov Memorial Vinnytsia National Medical University on the occasion of Medical Worker's Day (2017); from the Director of the Department of Health of Vinnytsia City Council for conscientious and diligent work, dedication to duty, high professionalism, active life position, and on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of Vinnytsia City Gastroenterological Department (January 2018); from the Minister of Health of Ukraine for significant achievements in professional activity and conscientious work (August 2023).
She was awarded a diploma for setting the record of Ukraine in the "Publishing" for the book "Standards of Treatment of Common Diseases of Internal Organs. 30 Emergency Conditions." In the category for the most frequent republication of educational medical books for doctors in Ukraine (March 2018), as responsible for the book's publication from 21 out of 25 editions (2000-2021).
