In 1983 he defended the masters thesis in profession line 14.01.27 – pulmonology. In 1989 he defended the degree of Doctor in profession line 14.01.27 – pulmonology. He has headed department of propedeutics internal diseases of Vinnitsa Medical University. He is a member of a specialized council attached to the Institud of Phthisiatria and pulmonology named after Yanovsky AMS of Ukraine. He is a member of the editorial board of 8 state scientific editions. Mostovoy is author of 20 monographs, more than 450 scientific articles, innovations, informative letter. He is a participator of 115 European Scientific forum in Pulmonology.
