Since 1989, after graduating from the Faculty of Biology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she has been working at the department. In 1991-1995 Alla Krizhanovska had been studying for a PhD at National Pirogov Memorial Medical University. In 1995 she defended her Candidate's Thesis "Comparative microbiological study of decamethoxin antiseptic eye drops" at the Kiev Research Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases named after Lev Gromashevsky. In 2002, she was elected as an assistant professor of the Department of Microbiology. Alla Krizhanovska holds lectures in Ukrainian and English to students of medical, dental and pharmaceutical faculties, as well as for PhD students and post-graduate education learners.
Alla Krizhanovska is a co-author of 5 teaching aids, 40 publications, including 13 in teaching areas. In 2014, she took advanced training courses at Ternopol State Medical University named after Gorbachevsky.
